Benefits

Sirtris offers an extensive package of benefits to its full time employees and their families.  All regular, full time employee become eligible for all benefits plans their first day of employment.

Health and Life Insurance

+Health Insurance

Sirtris offers a competitive healthcare plan, to provide full time employees and their family members the choice between an HMO or a PPO healthcare plan provided by Blue Cross Blue Shiel.  The company covers 100% of the premiums under the HMO Plan and 75% of the premiums under the PPO Plan.    

+Dental Insurance

Sirtris’ dental coverage is provided by Delta Dental’s Preferred Option Plan.  You have the options to elect individual or family coverage from Delta Dental.  Full time employees become eligible for this benefit their first day of work.

+Medical Expense Reimbursement Plan (MERP)

The MERP works in conjunction with Sirtris’ Blue Cross Blue Shield Plan.  It is established for the exclusive benefit of participants in the Blue Cross Blue Shield Plan, their covered dependents, and their beneficiaries.  Designed to ease some of the out of pocket expenses an employee may incur due to Inpatient and/or Ambulatory Day Surgery co-payments are required for both HMO and PPO plans.

+Life and Other Insurance

Sirtris’ Life, Long and Short Term Disability as well as Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance are offered through Lincoln Financial.  The plan provides life insurance coverage equal to or twice your annual salary up to a maximum of $500,000 without providing the carrier with medical information.

Financial / Savings

+401(k) Contributions

The Sirtris 401k plan allows you to save up to 50% of your pre-tax salary for a contribution up to $15,500 per a year.  Sirtris contributes 100% of the first 3% of your salary and then 50% of the next 2% of your salary to the plan.  

+529 Savings Plan

All regular full time Sirtris employees are eligible to participate in the 529 Savings Plan provided by Fidelity Investments.  The 529 Saving Plan are flexible accounts specifically designed for college savings. 

+Pre-Tax Flexible Spending Accounts

Sirtris’ Flexible Spending Account plans provide an opportunity to set aside pre-tax dollars to help pay for eligible health and dependent care expenses as defined by the Internal Revenue Services.

+The Real Estate Advantage Program

A cost free benefit where you maybe able to receive a cash rebate whenever you purchase or sell a home through Coldwell Banker.

Work and Life

+Employee Assistance Program (EAP) & Travel Assistance

The Employee Assistance Program is designed to assist employees with everyday living by offering support for you and your family.  This confidential service can help you find solutions for life’s many challenges, from selecting daycare, financial advice, loss and addiction problems.

The Travel Assistance Program is an additional form of coverage for those who are traveling more than 100 miles from home, worldwide. 

+Sirtris Referral Policy

Full time, non-management Sirtris employees are eligible for a referral bonus of $1,000 if you refer a candidate who is hired for a full-time position.

+Transportation and Parking Assistance

Parking and Transportation assistance is offered to full time employees by Sirtris.  You have the choice of: a MBTA pass or parking.

Paid Time Off

+Vacation

Full time Sirtris employees are offered 15 paid vacation days per calendar year.

+Holidays

The Company provides employees with up to 11 paid holidays each year
